Junghae Lee: VIV (2005)
Andre Meier: Unsichtbare Grenze II (2009)
Thomas Peter: omit_#2
Luciano Berio: Sequenza VIIb
Karlheinz Essl: Sequitur VII
Jorge Sanchez-Chiong: Cuidad Dormitorio
Spannend.

“more mouvements for lachenmann” by xavier le roy is a combination of contemporary music and modern dance, the natural body language of musicians is boosted, the instruments are detached of the players and a new context arises.

after finally finishing sucessfully my mba I´m back in life. so let´s dive again into culture. wien modern is back in town, and I´m a proud owner of two festival passes.
the first event I attended on monday, 27.10.2008. it was part of the Klangforum Wien series of konzerthaus. It took place at Remise, normally this location is a skate park in an old tramway garage. Two wonderfull pieces have been performed by both the telekom austria company brass band and the klangforum ensemble, DROR FILER and MÜLL EA.
On the stage a real MA48 garbage truck had been placed, in the truck the one of the two vocalists was placed. So this is now the time after the implosion of the virtual finance industry the real garbage industry takes over the contemporary music festivals, Mr. Lenin, this is a real revolution
The next event I visited on thursday, 30.10.2008. 4 Hours of short films with Tony Conrad. A lot of very interesting points of views, just to mention some of them:
- a film about feedback of films in films
- a film about how america would be without any influence of Europe called “No Europe”
- and his master piece “Flicker” which founded the structural film movement
Tony introduced his films, and he is indeed like his films, full of humor but not really structured
